The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States, the Festival d'Avignon and its subsidiary Festival Experiences, would like to thank you for your interest in the program.  Unique in its genre, it includes several major artists presented at the Festival d'Avignon in recent years who speak of their creative approach.

Please see below updated information regarding the fall season of “Classes d’Art” for the United States, as well as other useful details.

Registration

Starting August 24, 2020, the prototype of the program is entering its second phase. To access it, everyone must register by entering an email address at:

www.festival-experiences.com/avignon

(Even if you already registered during the summer, you will need to register again.)

If you are a professor with a group of students, each student must register individually. Registration will give you and your students access to the entire program, including four Classes d’Art, until December 31st, 2020.

The four artists featured:

  • Olivier Py, theater director
  • Caroline Guiela Nguyen, theater director
  • Angelique Kidjo, singer-songwriter
  • François Chaignaud, performer-choreographer

Each Classe d'Art is a 90-minute direct encounter with an artist from the Festival d'Avignon divided in several chapters (all with English surtitles), completed by up to 30 hours of the artists’ archives (in the original version without English surtitles.)

***From August 24, free registration is mandatory to access to the program***
